Website Intent and Children’s Clause
In harmony with Women of Esther Ministries values and commitment to help protect minors, to avoid the appearance of any impropriety, and to fully legally comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA - which was passed in 1998 restricting websites from tracking data on children under 13), the minimum age for use of this website is 14 or as applicable by governing law. Women of Esther Ministries, its board, employees, and associates Do not and are not allowed to knowingly collect or use personal data from a child under 13 years of age. If we learn that we may have inadvertently collected data from or on a child under 13 years of age from our websites, the data will be deleted as soon as possible. In addition, if a child under 13 years of age has provided us with data, their parent or legal guardian may contact our organization. Information We Do Collect
1. Your contact information is captured as you entered your information into our website (i.e.: Name, address, location, phone numbers, email, organizational affiliations, et cetera).
2. Donation information (i.e.: Country, card username, card number, expiration date, security code, card billing address, contact phone number, and email). Credit card numbers are used only for donations and are not retained for other purposes.
3. Shipping information for any thank you items (i.e.: Donor name, organization/affiliations, complete address, et cetera).
4. How individuals heard about Women of Esther Ministries.
5. Donor initiated comments, suggestions, outreaches (such as volunteer information), et cetera.
6. Request information for ministry materials (i.e.: Newsletters, email addresses, social media contact information).
7. Your Internet Protocol (IP) Address: We collect the number that is numerically assigned to your computer when you connect to the internet. Use of this number helps our organization to streamline our services, analyze system problems, support network protocols, do trend analysis, assimilate and correlate higher level data to tailor our site to user needs, and facilitate the delivery of appropriate materials on our site. This data is not connected to any personally identifiable information.
8. Hardware and Software General Data: Our system may from time to time capture the general type of device, operating system, and communication protocols used by users of our site in order to help provide the best possible services to users. Such higher-level data would include the general type of operating system (Windows or Mac), mobile versus non-mobile devices, et cetera.
9. Website Interface Data: Our system monitors and captures data related to number of clicks on individual hyperlinks/data, content viewed, duration data, general locations, and other statistical data as needed. This information is in no way connected to any personal identifying data.
10. Third Party Vendors and Aggregate Accumulations: Third party vendors may provide your data to our organization in the process of delivering services to us or to you on our behalf. Such parties may include the third-party providers utilized for donations (i.e.: PayPal, et cetera) and Social Media platforms that are utilized by our organization. In addition we may data mine our resources and combine offline collected data with online collected data (including supplied third party data) for internal purposes and compliance. Women of Esther Ministries does not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to other organization, nor do we allow other groups to preview your personal information. Your donor information and identity will be kept confidential. The utilization of donor information is limited to our organization, and may be at times accessed by third party providers, contractors, and consultants on a limited basis as it pertains to supporting the organization’s internal purposes (i.e. reporting, forecasting, trend analysis et cetera.), ministry activities, and fund-raising endeavors. At such times, prior to being able to access your data, these third party providers, consultants, and contractors must sign a confidentiality agreement to protect your information, demonstrate satisfactory safety procedures to guard your information, and agree not to retain any aspects of your data upon successful conclusion of business endeavors between their organization and Women of Esther Ministries.
Women of Esther Ministries does reserve the right surrender your information as an exception to our stated policies in situations in which the law requires it, if it is requested in legal proceedings, to prove and/or protect our organization’s legal rights, and to new management in the event of merger or absorption of this organization by another entity.
Your data will only be held until the completion of the task for which the data was collected, unless utilized for internal statistical and reporting analysis, or to comply with legal recommendations and mandates as applied by law.
