Kyla Wilson holds an MBA from Amberton University and is the founder of Women of Esther Ministries. As a savvy businesswoman and change agent with 30 plus years of management experience in the areas of corporate banking, finance, and real estate, she is well versed in the nuances of effecting personal and social change. This coupled with over 16 years in higher education as a Subject Matter Expert and former Assistant Dean of Career Programs and Continuing Education for City Colleges of Chicago, readily illustrates her vision and gifting for empowering others to achieve their dreams.
Kyla is passionate about community service, which lead her to begin feeding the homeless in the Roseland community from the back of her car in 2003. In 2004, Kyla founded Women of Esther (WOE) Ministries. Kyla’s initial vision was to share the Gospel of Jesus, and practically demonstrate the love of God by helping to meet the needs of others. Over the years, Kyla has volunteered and partnered with local faith-based and community-based organizations to teach them how to develop sustainable community outreach initiatives. Of all her accolades and accomplishments, there is none more important or dearer to her heart than empowering those in need and rescuing souls. She is the modern-day voice crying aloud in today’s urban wilderness.
